Mon - Sun - 9.30am - 4pm (subject to change and weather depending). Later opening in summer holidays and reduced hours in winter months. Check our Facebook page for variations.

Since opening in 2010, we have grown from a beach hut kiosk to what you see today, a spacious and airy beach side cafe and shop. We expanded our menu and seating area in 2019, incorporating a wood fired pizza oven into our new extension.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, not quantity which is why at Tides although the menu is not extensive you can be sure that what you get is always nothing but perfect whether that be our crispy bacon sandwiches, wood fired pizzas or our exceptional barista coffee.

Enjoy one of our full of flavour and expertly made espresso based coffees or any of the hot drink choices. We also have a selection of cold drinks for a quick stop. Alcohol is served by the bottle to enjoy either at the table or served to the beach.

Or if you are joining us for a little something to eat, enjoy our delicious wood fired pizzas, or something from our chiller. Breakfast menu served until 11.00am consists of our ever popular freshly made bacon buns, sausage buns (or a combination of both!) A selection of fresh cakes and tray bakes including the ever popular Sandsend Scallywags and cornflake tart! (a selection of gluten free / vegan cakes are available subject to availability).

We also have a large selection of dairy ice creams made in Yorkshire! 18 flavours to choose from!

A variety of beach goods and inflatables are available including kids wetsuits and aqua shoes
